George D. Ewing of Denton, MD, died Friday, June 2, 2017, at the Caroline Home for Hospice. He was 60 years old.
Mr. Ewing is the son of Diane Blair Wojcik of Denton and was the grandson of his maternal grandparents, the late Ralph O. Towers and Harriet Towers. A graduate of Easton, MD High School, he had moved to the Denton area in 1980. Until 2015, he was a self-employed machinist as the owner of Hole Shot Engineering in Easton, his all-time dream. A loving husband and father, he and his wife, Beverly J. Ewing of Denton, were married in November of 1979. He and his wife both shared a love of tractor pulling and stock car racing.
In addition to his wife and mother, Mr. Ewing is survived by his daughter, Tiffany A. Watson (John) of Secretary, MD; three grandchildren: Isabella Watson, Topanga Watson, and Freya Watson; a brother, Bruce Ewing (Jeannie) of Hillsboro, MD; a sister, Tamara Welp of Hillsboro; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a child, Stephanie Ewing.
