Fondly remembered as a man who shared his faith, George Curtis Hester, began his heavenly journey on February 18, 2022 at 6:04 pm. Curtis was 77 years old.
Curtis was born June 12, 1944 to George and Lillie Belle Hester in Biloxi, MS. He worked for the City of Pascagoula as an electrician, retiring after 30 years of service and also served in the Army National Guard. Curtis was a member of faithful member of Freedom Christian Fellowship. He was kindhearted and had a love for Christ that shined brightly for the world to see. His love for his family was evident, until the end. His love was returned with an outpouring of prayers by his family in his final days. Curtis was a devoted father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother. He will be greatly missed.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Roy Cecil Hester and Robert Carl Hester; and a grandson, Branden Lee Israel.
He is survived by two daughters, Tamatha Ann Hester and Kimberly Michelle Hester; seven siblings, Ronald “Ron” Jefferey Hester, Helen Louise Pace, Bernice Marie Robertson, Raymond Gilbert Hester, Bertha Ann Briley, James Milton Hester; grandchildren, Carrie Lynn Christensen (Travis), Shayra Stone and David Stone; great-grandchildren, Thea Lee and Raiden; faithful friend, Mike Chaloux and numerous other relatives and friends.
