Geneva Augustine, 95, died peacefully on September 29, 2015 at Valley Park Retirement Center, Holts Summit, Missouri

She was born November 30, 1919, in Morrison, Missouri to Benjamin Joseph and Anna Veronica (Wolz) Means.

She spent most of her adult life in Morrison and the surrounding areas where she met and married Edwin (Red) Charles Augustine on September 25, 1940. They were married for 53 years until his death in 1994.

She is survived by her five children and their spouses,  Larry and wife Gwen Augustine, Seattle WA; Barry and wife Bonnie Augustine, Nashville, TN; Tarry Faries, McLean, VA; Mary and husband Gary Gordon, Redondo Beach, CA and Cary and wife Rosemary Augustine, New Bloomfield, MO, by three grandchildren and their spouses, Tracy and wife Michelle Augustine, Amy and husband Jonas Cline and Ellen and husband David Jacus and 5 great-grandchildren,  and by two brothers Jerry Means, Chamois, MO and Ben Means, Inverness, FL.

Geneva was remarkably intelligent, witty, hard-working and determined. She was also big-hearted, always a loving, caring person, and her family was everything to her. But she also found time to explore her many talents and interests, including oil painting, quilting, gardening, designing and other artistic endeavors.

Geneva was truly one of a kind and was blessed in her years. She leaves an irreplaceable void in our lives. We have been privileged to have her in our lives and family and will miss her greatly.
