Mr. Bonn lived and worked in Portland for 30 years before retiring at T.R.W. and was a Veteran of Vietnam serving in the United States Army and Air Force. Gar was always willing to help out and was a very reliable and caring person. He was committed to his family, grandchildren, and his Grand Dog. He always took pride in being a single father and raising his children. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Janis; brother-in-law, Daryl Jackson; brother, Floyd Bonn. Surviving are his special friend, Mary Herblet; children, Alan Bonn, Dale (Lori) Bonn, Gary Bonn, and Barb (Alan) Maus; grandchildren, Trevor, Mitch, and Hayden Maus, Tori, Hayley and Emmalee Bonn, Bailey Mitchell, and Kimberly Bonn; sisters, Bonnie Jackson, Margie (Wayne) Stafford, Sandy Bonn, and Jackie Bonn; Grand Dog, Benson; several nieces and nephew.
