Freida Fierce, 58, of Steelville passed away Sunday afternoon, April 22, 2007. She was born Sunday, October 31, 1948 in Cherryville, Missouri, the daughter of Emmit and Eva (nee Callahan) Harris.
Freida is survived by two sons, Christopher Fierce and wife Tracy of Dixon, Missouri and Joey Fierce of Cape Girardeau, MO; four daughters, Alice Galayda and husband Skip of Steelville, Becky McConnell and husband Jesse of Cuba, Carrie Scott and husband Bert of Cuba and Christine Wachter of Cape Girardeau, MO; eighteen grandchildren; two sisters, Ruth Haffer and husband Walter of Cuba and Lucille Green and husband Glen of Cuba. She is preceded in death by her parents; one son, Charles Fierce; and two brothers, Albert and Dwight Harris.
Freida had worked in home health care for Missouri Home Care. She had a love for butterflies and hummingbirds. She enjoyed being outdoors especially sitting in the quiet surroundings. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
