Frederick was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church and graduated from St. Patrick Catholic School. He retired from General Motors after 40 years of service and enjoyed fishing and Nascar. Frederick is preceded in death by his grandparents and parents. Surviving are his wife of 45 years, Marilyn; children, Wendy (Al) Malpas, Robin (Scott) Benham, Mark Smith and Joe Smith; grandchildren, Tiffany, India, Victoria, Matt, Cassandra, Ayden and Kiley; 1 great-granddaughter; and siblings, Mary (Rudy) Peplau, David Smith, Barb (Larry) VanWormer, Rose Barrett and Tom (Connie) Smith.
