Franklin K. Stockman, Jr. of Denton, MD died Sunday, May 21, 2017, at his home. He was 78 years old.
Born in Baltimore, MD on September 18, 1938, Mr. Stockman was the son of the late Franklin Kimmel Stockman, Sr. and Dorothy Elizabeth Bauernshub Stockman. His wife, Willa Loudell “Lou” Stockman, died November 9, 2010.
Before retirement, Mr. Stockman had worked for Waverly Press for over 40 years, starting in Baltimore before moving to Denton to work for them in Easton. He was a loving husband and a great father who loved the outdoors and fishing.
Mr. Stockman is survived by three daughters: Stephanie Ireton (Frank) of Lanham, MD, Stacie Waller (Stuart) of Houston, TX, and Susan Stockman of St. Michaels, MD; one son, Frank Stockman (Marnie) of Cordova, MD; two sisters, Rachel Ludwig of Baltimore and Genie Harris of Front Royal, VA; and six grandchildren: Sienna and Sequoia Chupek, Sommer and Sophie Waller, and David and Josie Stockman.
