Frank Edward Ackerson
Age 79, of Ionia, peacefully passed away on Thursday morning following a stroke. Ed was born on May 19, 1934, to Glen and Ivah (Gates) Ackerson in Palo, Michigan. He graduated from Ionia High School with the class of 1952 and married Mary Wood on July 11, 1954. They celebrated 59 years together. From this union, Ed and Mary had three children – Steve, Janine and Ron.
