Cumberland-Francis L. “Red” Berryman, Born November 5, 1936 in Portland, ME to Emma F. and Hollingworth T. Berryman of Cumberland. He attended schools in Portland for a few years. At age 8 he moved to Cumberland, attended Cumberland Schools & Greeley Institute. He worked for the State of Maine taking borings for two years then went to work for Maynard Robinson and Sons for 20 years. He then went to work for the Town of Falmouth for 24 years retired from them and worked part time for Nappa Autoparts for 5 years. He was pre-deceased besides his parents; a grandson; Rodney E. Theriault Jr. He is survived by his wife of 55 years Arveen. One son John and wife Leslie of Burnham, 3 daughters Margaret and Husband Rodney Theriault of Gray, Brenda and husband George Anderson Jr. of Pownal, Stephanie and husband Chad Carroll of Windham. 12 Grandchildren, 4 Great grandchildren, many extended family members,& his cat “Lucy”.
