He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie in 1999. Surviving are his daughter, Yvonne (Craig) Sandborn of Portland and a son, Brian (Sherry) Gensterblum of Morrison Lake; 4 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren and 3 step great grandchildren; sisters, Adeline Smith of Portland, Helen Rogers of Portland, Rita Miller of Pewamo and Tillie (Robert) Hufnagel of Portland; many nieces and nephews.
