Francis J. Hewitt, 64, of Laytonsville, MD passed away on Wednesday, February 26, 2014. He was the son of the late William E. Hewitt, Sr. and Frances Fitzpatrick Hewitt. Francis is survived by his wife, Janice M. Hewitt, as well as four children; Courtney M. Hewitt of Frederick, MD, Casey A. Long (Kurt) of Frederick, MD, Kathleen C. “Katie” Rosales (Nelson) of Frederick, MD and Alex Jean-Jacques (Sarah) of Urbana, MD. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; Will, Cameron, Emma, Elijah, Julian, McKenna, and Abigail, as well as a brother, William E. Hewitt, Jr. (Judith) of Gaithersburg, MD, and a nephew, Matthew W. Hewitt of Gaithersburg, MD.
