Age 76, loving husband, father, grandfather passed away on May 8, 2010. He was born June 15, 1933 in Pewamo the son of Frank and Mary (Diller) Heckman. Fran was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pewamo. He served our country in the United States Army serving in Germany and was a lifetime member and past Post Commander the V.F.W. Post #3733. Fran was an avid P-W sports fan attending many games as a fan and a coach. He supported the P-W Booster Club and the Parents for Sports Club. He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter-in-law, Donna Heckman. Surviving are his wife of 51 years, Celeste; children Rosemary (Steve) Halfmann, Frank (Darlene) Heckman, Jane (Ken) Martin, Donna (Mike) Wirth, George (Jeanne) Heckman, Dan (Julie) Heckman and Pat Heckman; 18 grandchildren; brother Bill (Catherine) Heckman; several in-laws, nieces and nephews.
