Wiscasset – Francis “Eli” Whittaker, 73, of Hale Pond Road passed away Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at his home.
He was born in Woonsocket, Rhode Island on February 16, 1947, son of Benjamin and Evelyn (Godin) Whittaker. He was the brother of the late Nancy Demers. He graduated from Burrillville High School where he played hockey.
He worked for many years with American Tourister. In his semi-retirement years, he worked at LL Bean and for a few different farms in Maine.
He is survived by his children, one son, Benjamin Whittaker, and three daughters, Buffie Whittaker and her spouse Neil Smith, Alison Jean, Jessica Goodwin and her husband Robert Goodwin, his loving spouse of 17 years, Cindy Reynolds and her daughter and son (Amy Brown and Nate Brown) one sister, Suzanne Lynes, and many grandchildren, Emily Whittaker-Smith, Jonathan Whittaker-Smith, Riley Goodwin, Terry, Tyler, Tage, Teagan, Kaden, Karl, Bradley, Samuel, Gabriel, Quinn and many nieces and nephews.
