Floyd Gamble, 83, of Cherryville, Missouri passed away Thursday, December 27, 2007 at his home in Cherryville, Missouri. He was born April 4, 1924 to Aaron Thomas and Pearl (Clemmons) Gamble. On September 11, 1945, he was united in marriage to Lola (Lawson) Gamble who survives of the home.
In addition to his wife of sixty-two years, he will be sadly missed by four sons, Ronald Aaron Gamble and wife Brenda of Hillsboro, Missouri, Mike Gamble of Cherryville, Missouri, Wayne Edward Gamble and wife Judy of Flemington, Missouri and Mark Anthony Gamble of Bourbon, Missouri; two daughters, Rhonda Day and husband Tom of Cherryville, Missouri and Debbie Day and husband Greg of Hillsboro, Missouri; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two brothers, Ed Gamble and Webb Gamble both of Potosi, Missouri; one sister, Fay Metcalf of Potosi, Missouri; other relatives and friends. His parents preceded him in death.
Floyd was retired from the Laclede Gas Company in St. Louis.
