Fernald A. Cunningham, 85 of Nobleboro, passed away at the Gregory WIng in Boothbay Harbor, on the morning of November 11th. Born on March 12, 1928 in Whitefield, ME, he was the son of Paul and Irene (Crocker) Cunningham. Fernald grew up here, attending local schools before joining the U.S. Army and serving honorably during World War II. Upon his return from the Army, he went to work for Round Top Farms, Crooker’s Construction, and the Nobleboro Central School.
