Faye Irene Weaver Sieber of St. James, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at the Golden Living Center in St. James, Mo. surrounded by Family knowing she was loved.
Faye I. Sieber was born in Sparta, Missouri. She was one of ten children of parents Charles and Elizabeth Weaver.
Faye was united in marriage to Lawrence Sieber in 1943 in Springfield, Missouri. To this union four children were born.
Faye was a lifelong Baptist and a member of Second Baptist Chruch of Rolla, Missouri for many years. A loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and homemaker. Fay had many talents. She made beautiful handmade quilts, painted china and oil paintings, and collected many things. She loved lighthouses and had over 250 lighhouses. Faye was a kind and gentle person who loved family and friends. She loved Christmas and holidays, she always decorated beautifully for Christmas for her family and friends to enjoy. Faye enjoyed cooking and baking. She always said she baked enough cookies to reach around the world. The Kitchen was her sanctuary where she spent the most time talking to God. Her favorite color was red and her favorite flower was Gardenia. She loved life and lived it to the fullest. Faye had a beautiful high soprano voice and sang in church with her special friend until her voice failed. Faye especially loved her step-son Ivan Sieber who spent many hours reading the bible to her and praying with her.
Faye Sieber is survived by her children: Larry Sieber and wife Wanda, Gary Sieber, and Pam Grate and husband George and step-son Ivan and wife Minnie. Her Brothers: Bill and Gene Weaver. Six grandchildren: Laura Green, Mike Sieber, Bryan Grate, and Katie, Bill Grate and wife Sisi, and Brad Sieber. Six great-grandchildren: Scott and Samantha Sieber, Joshua and Adam Green, Alesha Sieber and Ariana Grate and Bryan and wife Kaitlan Grate. She is also survived by other extended family, many friends and some very special friends.
Preceding Faye in death are her parents, husband, infant son, daughter-in-law: Debbie Sieber with five sisters: Opal Chapman, Barbara Weaver, Maxine Weaver, Dorothy Weaver, Kay Cameron and two brothers: Ed and Lloyd Weaver.
