Bath- Evelyn Susan Fortin, 78, of Highland Street died Thursday, July 8, 2010 at Mid Coast Hospital in Brunswick peacefully with her family by her side.
She was born in Danforth on September 22, 1931, a daughter of Lewis and Blanche (Coffin) Osgood.
She attended schools in Danforth, Freeport and later graduated from Danforth High School in 1948.
She was a member of the Corliss Street Baptist Church in Bath.
She enjoyed witty humor, watching soap operas, knitting, cooking, especially holiday meals and always acknowledged special family occasions.
She was predeceased by her husband, James Edward Fortin in 2006, a son, Kenneth D. Holt in 1997, stepfather, Harry Crone, four brothers, Otis Davis, Malcolm Osgood, Myron Osgood and Walter Osgood and four sisters, Muriel Davis, Charlotte Osgood, Norma Osgood and Lorraine Osgood.
She is survived by four sons, Charles W. Holt of Bath, Myron T. Holt of Vero Beach, FL, Timothy J. Holt of Bath and Clifford H. Parker and his wife Nancy of Bath, two daughters, two brothers, Jason Crone of Danforth and Harry Crone of Tampa , FL, eleven grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
