On the evening of March 25th Evelyn Rose (Tompson) Pushor went to meet her Lord, with family by her side.

Evelyn was born on February 15, 1924 to Charles and Alfaretta (Kenny) Tompson in Westbrook, Mane

At two years old the family moved to North Yarmouth where they had a farm.  As a youngster Evelyn attended Walnut Hill School and graduated from North Yarmouth Academy in June of 1942.  After her graduation from high school the family moved to Standish

In her twenties she met Carl Pushor while bowling, an activity she enjoyed into her nineties.  On May 19, 1951 they were married in a small town in New Hampshire.  After being married Carl and Evelyn moved to South Portland and would soon buy a home on Saint John Street in Portland where they would raise their two sons, Roger and Robert.

After the boys had gone off on their own adventures, Carl and Evelyn moved to Florida.

When Carl became ill, they moved back to Maine to settle in North Yarmouth.

After Carl passed away Evelyn lived on her own until Dementia came into her life and could no longer drive.  She then moved from North Yarmouth to Canco Woods in Portland.  After three years at Canco Woods she moved to Falmouth to live with her son Roger until her passing.

Evelyn will always be fondly remembered for her quick wit and telling family stories of years gone by.

She was a Seamstress by trade and taught sewing for Singer before the boys were born.  In her later years she worked for Porteous Mitchel & Braun as a Seamstress.  Evelyn had a love for making clothes that went back to her youth while in 4H.  She could sew and knit most anything you could want.

Evelyn will be missed by her children, grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins.  She is survived by Sons: Roger C. Pushor and Partner, Trudy Little of Falmouth, ME, Robert C. Pushor of Sunnyvale, CA. Grandchildren; Daniel, Rachelle, Noah, Lukas, Nadine, and Great-Granddaughter Anastasia.
