Evelyn Anna Vogt formerly of Vichy, Missouri passed away on Saturday, January 2, 2010 at the Landcaster Manor in Lincoln, Nebraska. Evelyn was 89 years, 9 months and 12 days of age.

Evelyn Vogt was born on March 21, 1920 in Herculaneum, Missouri to her parents: Clifford Earl and Ocal L. (Smith) Potter. She was united in marriage to Norman P. Vogt on August 10, 1939 at Lakeside Park Union Church in St. Louis County. To this union two children were born.

Evelyn Vogt was a kind and loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Evelyn worked for a couple of years at a factory in St. Louis, Missouri while in her teens. She worked for 32 years as an aide at the nursing home in Okawville, Illinois. After moving to Vichy, Missouri with her husband, she worked at the Phelps County Regional Hospital in Rolla, Missouri as aide for about 5 years before retiring.

Evelyn Vogt is survived by two daughters-in-law: Pam Vogt of Lincoln, Nebraska; and Eunice Vogt; one sister: Dorothy Mathison of Quincy, Illinois; two grandchildren: Pam and Sarah. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Preceding Evelyn Vogt in death are her parents: Clifford Earl and Ocal L. (Smith) Potter; her husband Norman P. Vogt on February 25, 1985; two sons: Norman D. Vogt on May 23, 2005 and Roy Vogt on November 23, 1983; and one grandson: Jonathan on February 18, 1998, four brothers: Theodore, Louis, Fredrick and William Potter.
