Woodstock – Eugene “Glen” Gowell, 61, of Woodstock, passed away unexpectedly on May 17, 2022 at CMMC in Lewiston. He was born in Bath, the son of Coreen Gowell on June 9, 1960. He grew up in Brunswick and attended Brunswick Schools. Glen, as he was known to his friends, joined the United States Army and proudly served his country for 4 years.
At the time of his death, Glen was employed at the Bethal Food Lines, which he took great pride in doing and loved talking with the customers.
Glen was an avid history buff, especially WWII memorabilia. He was a jack of all trades. In 1990’s, he built his home in Woodstock with his own hands.
He is predeceased by his mother, Coreen.
Glen leaves behind his loving wife, Linda Thiboutot; a son, Sasha Gowell and his wife Katie, and 4 granddaughters; 3 step children, Ashley Thiboutot, Aimee Thiboutot and Lukas Edmondson; aunts, uncles and his friends; “Pebby” his loyal and beloved dog. He will be missed by all those that loved him
