West Bath – Emily Elizabeth Allen, 43, of Old Brunswick Road passed away on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at Maine Medical Center in Portland.
She was born in Brunswick on March 18, 1973, a daughter of Willis and Glenis (Beane) Allen Jr. Emily attended Bath schools and graduated from Morse High School in the Class of 1992. She graduated from Hesser College in Manchester, NH with a degree in accounting and business. She was employed at Pizza Hut in Brunswick, Dominos in Brunswick and most recently at the Best Western Hotel in Freeport.
Emily was a member of Grace Episcopal Church in Bath where she was active with; The Women of Grace, served as an usher and attended Bible study. She was a member of the Girl Scout’s where she earned the Gold Award and The Maine Romance Writers of America.
She loved to knit and read, Emily had a passion for writing and was working on becoming an author. She will be remembered for her smile, her strength and her faith in God.
She is survived by her mother and stepfather, Glenis and Wayne Elliott of West Bath, her stepmother, Donna Allen of Harpswell, one step sister, Amy Quirion of Harpswell, two uncles, Bobby Allen of Harpswell and Lee Beane of Texas, one aunt, Marie Mostats of Boothbay, and three cousins, Chad Mostats, Justin Allen and Jason Beane.
She was predeceased by her father, Willis Allen Jr.
