Age 91, passed away on Friday, January 18, 2013. He was born on November 22, 1921 in Eaton County, MI the son of Lee and Thelma (Depue) King. Mr. King was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving on a submarine during World War II. Woody retired from General Motors, and was a lifelong farmer. He loved fishing, traveling, and was quite the handyman. Preceding him in death were his wives, Ruth and Sigred. Surviving is his wife, Evelyn Schalow King; children, Marlene Seifert, Alana Lord, Rod Vedder, Robert (Sharon) Schalow, and Suzan (Robert) McWilliams; 14 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; nieces, Margaret King and Judy Venzke.
