Age 87, passed away August 13, 2005. He was born on September 3, 1917 in Westphalia Township, the son of Frank and Caroline (Fandel) Rademacher. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Westphalia, the St. Joseph’s Society, and a Charter and Legion of Honor Member of the Catholic Order of Forresters. Mr. Rademacher was a farmer all of his life and was the recipient of the Clinton County Conservation Farmer of the Year Award in 1973. On May 26, 1943, he married Verena C. Smith at St. Mary’s in Westphalia. He is preceded in death by a daughter, Beverly Holland; brothers, Slyvester, Wilfred, and Leander Rademacher; sisters, Lillian Smith and Edwina Randall; great granddaughter, Kaitlin Paul. Surviving are his wife of 62 years, Verena; children, Joseph (Laura) Rademacher, Gary (Mary) Rademacher, John Rademacher, Thomas (Ann) Rademacher, Roy (Laure) Rademacher; daughter, Mary T. (Jim) Morgan; son-in-law, Jim Holland; 21 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; sister, Marcella Spitzley.
