Elizabeth Jane Culver, age 98, of Ionia passed away December 14, 2016. Elizabeth was born on May 30, 1918 to Wilbur and Jessie (Wedge) Foreman. She is survived by her two daughters, Barbara Williams of Ionia and Margaret Hoeksema of Grandville; six grandchildren, Judy Williams, Asa (Danielle) Williams, Richard (Tasha) Williams, Matt Hoeksema, Lisa Hoeksema, and Kim (Lee) Atkinson; 11 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Her husband, Marion passed away in October of 1983. She is also preceded in death by her brother, Charles, who passed away during the war; and her sister, Genevieve, who passed away in August of 2005. Elizabeth worked at the AC Spark Plug Division of General Motors during the war. Her job was to spray glue on the material for arm rests. She was also a Sunday teacher for the First Baptist Church for 20 years. After she married Marion, she became a homemaker.
