Izzy was a longtime active parishioner of Our Lady of the Annunciation Melkite Cathedral and belonged to the Annunciation’s Sodality. She was a member of the Nicholas G. Beram Veteran’s Association Ladies Auxiliary. Izzy was an excellent cook, but Arabic food was her specialty. She enjoyed entertaining family and friends, playing bingo, reading, and looked forward to her Thursday evening card games with the girls. She was her happiest surrounded by family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Izzy was loved by all and her glowing smile and gentle spirit lives on in the hearts of all she left behind.
