Elizabeth B. (Howdy) Rizzotti, of West Roxbury, formerly of Boston’s South End, passed away on May 29, 2022. She was 96 years old.
Elizabeth worked for many years as an aid in the Boston Public Schools and also in sales for a number of stores, including Sears, for over 25 years. She ran into friends everywhere she went, and was an expert shopper, often extending family shopping trips to help others with their shopping. She enjoyed bingo and working in the schoolyard at the Ohrenberger School in West Roxbury. Above all else, she was happiest surrounded by her loving family.
Elizabeth was the dear and devoted wife of the late Stephen Rizzotti Sr. Loving mother of Maria Castaldi of West Roxbury and the late Stephen Rizzotti Jr. Cherished grandmother, “Grandma” of Taylor, Stephanie and Alexa Castaldi and great grandmother of Brayden Bruce and Cody Castaldi. Dear sister of Louise Buccieri of West Roxbury, Dr. Frederick Howdy of NC, and the late William Howdy. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
