Age 61, dedicated father, husband and brother, passed away on Wednesday, January 20, 2016. Elijah was an Arborist (professional tree cutter) for 30 plus years and an avid Harley Davidson owner and rider. He belonged to the Grand Rapids Chapter #3170. He loved dancing, enjoyed Sunday dinners with his parents and watching sports with his dad. Elijah loved camping, fishing and hunting, but most of all making people laugh and helping them in anyway. He passed away riding his Harley through the clouds to eternity and into God’s arms. He is the husband of Karen A. Ward; son of Elijah and Joan Ward, Jr.; brother to Dennis (Ann) Ward; father of Timothy Ward of MI, William Baker of RI, Jane Tilson of Dahlonega, GA and Kristy McClung of RI; 7 grandchildren; nephew of Lillian (Frank) Spratto; also surviving are several cousins, nieces and nephews.
