Eleanor Hedvig Wahlberg Hallback Roland of Prior Lake Mn. passed away, in her sleep on February 4, 2021 of natural causes. She was born on May 7, 1930 to Gustav and Charlotte Wahlberg in Duluth Mn.. She had lived in Minnesota, Alaska, and New Mexico.
Eleanor was a beautiful and generous redhead who was young at heart. She loved to travel, dance, the Hallmark Channel, kittens, decorating her home and especially decorating for Christmas. She was a great cook and made the best bread, cinnamon rolls and spritz cookies.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Richard Wahlberg, sisters Clerry Halvorson, Lucille Swanson, Caroline Caywood, her husband Kenneth Hallback and sons-in-law Michael Dexter and Lawrence Mendel.
She is survived by her daughters Jill Hallback, Debera Mendel, Gail Dexter Czech, son-in-law Michael Czech, granddaughters Allyson Hallback, Leah Dexter and partner Nathan Turk, Rita Linares, step grandchildren Kathryn Czech and partner Timothy Obrien, Sarah Czech, Michael Czech Jr. and great grandchildren Zephyr, Augustine and Merrick Linares, Ella and Lily Turk step-grandchildren Ayden, Evan, Tatum and Molly Rehovsky and sister Helen Wasserburger and many nieces and nephews.
She will be greatly missed by all.
