Mr. Edward O. Gabathuler, 93, of Hermann passed away Saturday, February 11th, 2012 at Hermann Area District Hospital.
Mr. Gabathuler was born in Hermann, Missouri on September 14, 1918 the son of the late John W. and Alma (Wiele) Gabathuler.
He worked as a farmer his whole life, he also work for MO-DOT for 16 years. He was a member of Bethany United Church of Christ Berger, Missouri, he was a 4-H leader for over 30 years, member of Farm Bureau, and he lived on family century farm,
He was the husband of Margaret L. (Hug) Gabathuler they were married August 30, 1947 at Hermann, Missouri.
He is survived by his wife Margaret, by three children, Linda S. Kolley and husband Tim of St. Louis, Nadine Rentz and husband Henry of Hermann, and John Gabathuler and wife Nancy of Hermann. He is survived by grandchildren Lori Pyatt, Edward Pyatt, Megan Kolley, Gavin Kolley, Whitney Gabathuler, Erin Kottwitz and husband Kurt, and Kirstie Moorman she is also survived by three great grandchildren Layla Kolley, Gavin Kolley Jr. and Weston Baumli. He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers Harvey and Harry and a son-in-law Lloyd Pyatt.
