He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Preceding him in death were his parents; brother, Tony Gross; father-in-law, Roy Goerge; brother-in-law, Carl Koenigsknecht. Surviving are his loving wife of 32 years, Eva (Goerge) Gross; children, Cristy (Radu) Danca and Andy (Sara Botke) Gross; grandson, Andrei Danca, who was the joy of his life; siblings, Robert (Kevin) Gross, Annette (Daniel) Bryner, Ann (Glen Bierschbach) Gross, Elaine (Roy) Huhn and John (Mary) Gross; sister-in-laws, Judy Koenigsknecht, Ag (John) Lewis and RoseMary (Roger) Nobach; brother-in-laws, Leroy (Grace) Goerge, Curt (Mary Catherine) Goerge, Harry (Diane) Goerge, Ralph (Carol) Goerge, Brendon (Sandy) Goerge and George (Bev) Goerge; special nephews, Jake and Doug; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
