Edward “Bud” Kiefer passed away on February 8, 2021 at the age of 84 in Dardenne Prairie, MO. He was born on December 5, 1936 to Edward and Marie (Thornton) Kiefer. He was raised by his mother and step-father, John King. Edward worked as a laborer in construction for many years. He enjoyed auto racing and golf.
He is survived by his wife, Martha (Schmidt) Kiefer; two daughters, Linda (Mark) Schaefer of Millstadt, IL and Christine Kiefer of TX; two step-sons, Peter (Tina) Passiglia of Wentzville, MO and Chris (significant other, Julie) Passiglia of Ballwin, MO; two brothers, Robert (Shirlene) King of Fenton, MO and Jack King of Potosi, MO; three grandchildren, Casey Schaefer, Deavon (Lillie) Grey, Jake Whisler; and great-granddaughter, Elena Grey; He is preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Marie (Thornton) Kiefer,step father, John King, and sister Patricia Lacey. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
