Edith Short Dulin of Millersville, MD, formerly of Salisbury, died Sunday, March 27, 2016, at the home of her daughter. She was 99 years old. Born in Ridgely, MD on November 23, 1916, Mrs. Dulin was the daughter of William Dennis Binebrink and Etta Bridgett Lynch Binebrink. She grew up in Ridgely. Her first husband, William L. Short, Sr., died April 29, 1972. Her second husband, Walter K. “Dick” Dulin, died August 4, 1987. Mrs. Dulin had lived in many different places on the Delmarva Peninsula, including Salisbury, before moving to Millersville in 2006 to live with her daughter, Dolores Rutter. She had worked in Hess Apparel at their stores in Easton, Salisbury, and Ocean City, before retiring. In addition to her daughter, Mrs. Dulin is survived by three grandchildren, Jennifer M. Rutter, Daniel L. Rutter, and Kellie D. Short; two great-grandchildren, Aidyn and Jackson; and a sister, Margaret “Peggy” Ebling of Ridgely. She was preceded in death by a son, William L. Short; three brothers: Wilson Binebrink, Thomas Binebrink, and Robert Binebrink; and a sister, Mildred Paessler.
