Edith Buckley, 99, of Frederick, formerly of Westminster, died Thursday, September 5, 2013 at the Kline Hospice House.
Born July 15, 1914 in Forest Hills, New York, she was the daughter of the late George Washington Hart and Mary Louise and (McQuaid) Hart. She was the wife of the late William Buckley who died April 15, 2009. They had been married for 61 years.
She is survived by daughters JoAnn M. Payne and husband Herb of Westminster, Nancy C. Huber of New Windsor and son William D. Buckley and wife Lynne of Flushing, New York. She is also survived by five grandchildren Dennis William Buckley and wife Elisabeth, Rebeccah Payne Ostroski and husband Jared, Jon Anthony Marinucci and wife Robin, Tina Merryman and husband Brian, Holly Mae Huber of West Virginia University and nine great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by grandson Matthew J. Payne, and sisters Muriel Lyder, Alice Ford and Dorothy Hart.
