Eddie “Thomas” Brooks, Sr., 60, of Cuba, MO passed away Tuesday, July 26, 2011.
He was born March 6, 1951 in Miami, AZ to Edward J. Brooks and Ellie Ann (Head) Brooks.
Thomas was employed at Paramount Apparel in Bourbon. In his spare time, he loved to ride his motorcycle, drag race and fish. He also was known to give “advice” when needed.
He will be sadly missed by his two sons, Eddie Brooks, Jr. and wife Patsy and Shawn Brooks and wife Tina all of Cuba, MO; one daughter, Julie Willett of Cuba, MO; five brothers, Larry Brooks and wife Tammy of Steelville, MO, Barry Brooks and wife Angie of Viburnum, MO, Bobby Brooks and wife Leona of Salem, MO, Kelly Brooks and wife Darla of Kennett, MO and Ronnie Brooks and wife Debbie of Cherryville, MO; three sisters, Diane Bocardo of Steelville, MO, Jessie Ziegleir of St. Clair, MO and Betty Pyatt and husband Ronald of Davisville, MO; ten grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Johnny Brooks.
The family received friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
