Earle “Sonny” Pulsifer, Jr., 63 of Newcastle, passed away on the morning of November 11th with his children and companion, Patricia, by his side. Born in Boston, MA on September 2, 1950, he was the son of Dr. Earle and Barbara (Bailey) Pulsifer. Sonny grew up in Newcastle and attended local schools. After graduating from Kents Hill High School, he went to work for Hunt Brother’s Lumber in Damariscotta. He helped Dick Storer for several years, was self employed as a carpenter and seasonal cottage caretaker, and for many years worked at Chadwick’s Power Products in Nobleboro. Even when he was young, Sonny loved having projects to tinker with, and was always available to help others with theirs. He loved being outdoors, and particularly enjoyed being on a boat or near the water. He enjoyed taking his children camping in North Conway, and teaching them to fish.
