He worked as a heavy equipment operator for most of his working career. He was once the youngest crane operator in the State of Minnesota. He also travelled throughout the nation trucking with his son, Duane.
He is survived by his children, David (Sue) Norstebon of Badger, MN, Brenda Larson of Thief River Falls, MN and Duane (Kathy Srnsky) Anderson of Thief River Falls, MN; grandchildren, Amber, Kyle, Nicole, Kathryne, Ian, Samantha, Andrew, Benjamin, Lauren Emily, and Amira; 9 great-grandchildren; and sister, Phyllis Larson of Thief River Falls, MN. He was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Tucker Robert; siblings, Robert, Arnold, and Mae; special friend, Sandy Holmgren; and nephews, James and Steve.
