Dorothy Nell Townsend Pace 88 was Born April 21, 1935. She left this world and went to her heavenly home to be in the presence of Jesus and be reunited with her husband, family, and many friends. Mrs. Pace passed away peacefully at her home on May 6, 2023.
Mrs. Pace was an active member at Pine Forest Baptist Church located in Collinsville, MS. She dearly loved her Church Family and was a faithful Servant for over 60 years.
Mrs. Pace graduated from Collinsville High School and after graduation attended a Business School located in Meridian MS. She worked in the Textile Industry for many years and later served in her most important job, helping in raising grandchildren and instilling the importance of her Christian Values in each one. She also took great pride in assuring her family was kept close by preparing a wonderful Sunday lunch after church for her family for many years.
She is survived by children Terri (Ronnie) Fairchild, Joe (Janet) Pace, Leslie (Doyle) Perkins and Bill (Kim) Pace, Brother Lowery Townsend, 8 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, 1 great great-grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Pace is preceded in death by her parents Elliott and Imogene Townsend, husband, Kermit Snowden Pace and daughter-in-law Jena Pace.
