Dorothy L. (Smith) Lenneman died November 16, 2022 surrounded by her loving family to go to her heavenly home to join her family there. She was born on November 6, 1926 to William and Louise Smith, Westphalia. Her goal was to see her 96th birthday, crowning her the longest living of the Smith siblings of 10.

Family was her most prized accomplishment. Being a wife to Ron; a mother to her 6 children, Linda Friddle (special friend Max Endsley), Diane Huhn, Dan and Katherine Lenneman, Sharon and Kevin Page, Pete (Ronald Jr) and Judy Lenneman, Annette and Jeff Helmel; a grandma to, Eric Meyers, Tammy Friddle, Christina (Craig) Forist, Kevin (Connie) Huhn, Lisa (Courtney) Hill, Terry (Jody) Page, Alex, Clayton and Kelsea Lenneman; known as “Big Grandma” to her great and great-great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband 52 years, Ronald; sons-in-law, David Friddle and Larry Huhn; grandchildren, Fred Meyers II, Jamie Huhn, David Huhn, and Daron Page; great-grandchild, Taryn Montez; and great-great-grandchild, Island Buena.

Besides her family, she enjoyed quilting- winning ribbons thorough out the years, bingo, any game of cards, garage sales, time at the lake, and sweets— always eat dessert first, 2 cookies or donut for breakfast was a balanced diet.

Throughout her life she was a supporting spouse, owning several farms, cottages, homes, Houghton Beef Packing and Wagon Wheel Bar and bowling alley.
