Doris Ann Thawley of Queen Anne, MD died Monday, August 7, 2017, at the Compass Regional Hospice in Centreville, MD. She was 62 years old.
Born in Dover, DE on October 28, 1954, Ms. Thawley was the daughter of Sarah Jane Hutchins Melvin of Goldsboro, MD and the late Belford “Obie” Edwin Melvin, Sr.. She was a 1973 graduate of NCHS. She had been the manager of the Call Center at Choptank Electric in Denton, MD where she had worked for 33 years.
Ms. Thawley is survived by her son, Rusty A. Thawley and his wife Amber of Denton; a sister, Sandy Little of Goldsboro; two brothers: Belford Melvin, Jr. of McAllen, TX and Richard Melvin of Harrington, DE; two grandchildren, Ashlyn Thawley and Dylan Thawley; and her significant partner of many years, Dan K. Dulin of Queen Anne.
