Age 90, passed away on September 22, 2010 in Big Rapids. She was born on July 6, 1920 the daughter of J. Livern and Lucy (Parmenter) Rich. She graduated from Ionia High School in 1941. She worked at A.O. Smith in Ionia, Fisher Body in Lansing and the Chrysler Trim Plant in Lyons retiring after 31 years. Doralee was a member of the Ionia Church of the Nazarene and the Senior Citizens Club. She married Zarold McGee on November 27, 1947 in Orleans and he preceded her in death on May 11, 1981. She is also preceded in death by her sisters Dorothy Marion and Beulah Blumberg and a brother Albert Rich. Surviving are her daughter Phyllis Sherman of Reed City; granddaughters Dana (Roger) Gierzak of Muskegon and Debra (Carl Kerns) Nichol of Big Rapids; great grandchildren Brenna and Derek Gierzak and Carissa and Lane Nichol; brother Harold Rich of Orleans; special friend Robert Culver.
