Dora Mandy (nee Livesay) Gray, 76, of Sullivan, Missouri, formerly of Steelville, MO passed away on March 11, 2009 at her home. She was born January 11, 1933 in Keysville, MO to William Robert Livesay and Bertha Blanch Key Livesay. On May 3, 1952 in Salem, AR, she was united in marriage to Jack Smith who preceded her in death on January 8, 1991. In later years, Mandy married Russell Gray who also preceded her in death on August 16, 2007.

A few years ago, Mandy had attended the Presbyterian Church in Cuba.

She enjoyed traveling to Branson for the musical shows, but did not want to venture out of the state. She was a “true Missourian” since she often declared Missouri was the “greatest place on earth.”

Mandy’s family has appreciated all of the support and dedication of Pat Ogle and the BJC Hospice during the time of her illness.

She will be sadly missed by her son, Ronald “Ron” (Rhonda Roth) Smith of Sterling, CO; stepchildren, Darlene (Ricky) Richards and Edward (Deborah) Gray all of Shreveport, LA, Coleen Gray of St. Charles, MO and Rusty Gray of Cuba, MO; one brother, Billy Livesay of PA; two grandchildren, Jessica (Jim) Greenwood of Scottsdale, AZ and Tom Smith of Ft. Collins, CO; other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Jack and husband Russell, three brothers, Haskell, Ralph and Noah Livesay and one sister Maize Tynes.
