Woolwich, Donna M Booker, 67, of Middle Road, passed away peacefully with her family by her side at the Gosnell Hospice House in Scarborough on July 3, 2010. Donna was born in Lincoln on July 8, 1942, the daughter of Israel & Doris Barney Nute. She spent her early childhood years in Lincoln, moving when she was 5 years old to the Military Children”s Home in Bath, where she attended Morse High School.
She married her high school sweetheart, Philip Booker and they made their home in Woolwich. Donna wanted nothing more than to live in the country and raise a family. When her children were older she went to work for a short while at Jay Brush in the early 70”s. She also worked at the Shipbuilders Cafe in the 80”s as a cook and cashier.
She enjoyed Mother Nature at her best, especially bird watching. If there were ever a helpless animal in need, Donna was there to help. She was a person with a heart of gold.
