Pownal – Donald Ray Jones Junior ( little donald) – Donald was born in Beckley West Virginia on July 26, 1963 born to Donald Ray Jones and Joyce Coleman Jones. Donald was raised in Glen Jean West Virginia with his two younger brothers Jeff Jones, Charles (Chucky) Jones, and younger sister Tracy Zemonek. Donald fought a hard long battle with cancer and lost his battle on November 27, 2022.
Donald grew up in Glen Jean always hanging with his cousins riding bikes, or wandering back in Glen Jean Hollow to boxes swimming hole. He had a great love for those mountains, always hunting or fishing. In 1985 he had a daughter Brandy Jones, and in 1987 he met the love of his life Kimberly Coffin Jones, he then moved to Maine with her. Together they built a life and had two children, Alisha Jones and Cody Jones, and miss Makayla Marcotte who has been a daughter for the last 14 years. Family was everything to Donald, he loved to go to work to provide for them. He spent the remaining 17 years of his life running the pits at A.H. Blackstone as a loader operator. On weekends Donald could always be found at home washing and detailing vehicles, he had a huge passion for lifted fords and old mustangs.
Donald’s other passion was music, whatever words could not be spoken, could always be sung.
Donald is survived by his wife, Kimberly Coffin jones; daughters, Brandy Jones, Alisha Jones; son, Cody Jones and three grandchildren, Jaida Renae, Jacob, and Jaden.
Predeceased by his father Donald Jones, mother, Joyce Jones and brother, Jeff Jones.
