Donald Ray Harmon of Steelville, Mo. was born January 25, 1947 to Clark and Mary (Privett) in Salem, MO and passed away November 5, 2011 at his home in Steelville, MO at the age of 64 years, 9 months and 11 days.  Don served his country honorably in the US Army from 1966 to 1968 and was united in marriage to Jane E. Crocker July 24, 1976 in Viburnum, MO. 

Don worked at Chrysler from September 1976 to July 2007 when he retired.  Don accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior September 1980.  He enjoyed gardening, serving in his church where he was a Deacon and Royal Rangers leader, as well as volunteering at the food pantry.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Vicki  Stubbs, father-in-law Robert Lee Crocker  and brother-in-law Joseph Crocker.

He is survived by his wife Jane E. Harmon of the home;  four sons Robert Harmon and wife Erin of Steelville, MO, Donald Harmon and wife Susie of Bourbon, MO, Clark Harmon of Steelville, MO and Mark Harmon of Cuba, MO;  three grandchildren Shantel, Dalton and Cole;  his parents Clark and Mary Harmon of Salem, MO and mother-in-law Jessie Crocker of Viburnum, MO;  brothers and sisters, Meredith Sapaugh and husband Eldon of Salem, MO, Pat Brand and husband Earl and Steve Harmon and wife Martha all of Steelville and Jeff Harmon of Humansville, MO.  Brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Goldie Parrett and husband Roger, Jim Crocker, David Crocker and wife Becky all of Steelville, MO,  Deloris Stricklin and husband Eddie of Cherryville, MO, Orville Crocker and Steve Crocker and wife Sharon of Viburnum, MO, and Russell Crocker and wife Valerie of St. James, MO; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews; honorary children, Gabe and Jen Parrett, Brian, April, Canaan and Raelyn Greer, Alex and Spencer Parkinson, Gracie Hinson and daughter Phoebe and grandniece Hayleigh Parrett; other relatives and many friends. Don touched the lives of many honorary grandchildren.

The Family received friends from 5:00 p.m. to  9:00 p.m. on Monday, November 7, 2011 at the Steelville First Assembly of God Church and from noon until service time on Tuesday, November 8, 2011.

Honored to be casket bearers were Donald Harmon, Robert Harmon, Clark Harmon, Andy Stubbs, Stephen Sapaugh, Steven Harmon, Rodney Brand and Russell Brand.
