Age 91, passed away on Thursday, February 7, 2013. He was born on October 3, 1921 in East Grand Rapids, MI the son of Morris and Clara (Emelander) Shattuck. Mr. Shattuck was a veteran of the U.S. Army during World War II, serving in the European Theater in France. Donald was a member of the Portland V.F.W. Post #4090, and also a member of the Portland Conservation Club. He was a lifelong farmer, living on the same farm 63 years, raising quarter horses, and was retired from General Motors.
