Mr. Schrauben was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus Council #2168, and was a veteran, serving in the U.S. Air Force. Donald enjoyed playing cards and sports, especially baseball. He was preceded in death by his wife of 43 years, Shirley Schrauben; parents; brothers, Matt, Jim, Bill, Vern, Tom and Dennis; sisters, Marie, Elda and Arlene. Surviving are his children, Chris (Mandy) Schrauben of Portland, Andy (Debbie) Schrauben of Westphalia, Phil (Kathy) Schrauben of Manistee, Kathy (Mark) Stambaugh of Portland, and Mary Schrauben of Portland; grandchildren, Matthew and Kaitlyn Stambaugh, Correy and Carmen Schrauben, Gabriel Schrauben, Natalie Weber, Kelly (Ross) Boomershine, and Dawn (Jacob) Bender; 7 great granddaughters; special friend, Laura VanDyne; sisters, Betty Dinkel and Gert Dilley.
