Dolores Ann Jewell of Ridgely, MD, died Friday, February 17, 2017, at her home. She was 51 years old. Born in Oxford PA on April 11, 1965, Dolores was the daughter of Margaret Melvin of Henderson, MD and her step mother, Cheryl Reedy of Felton, DE. Her father, Robert Charles Reedy, is deceased. Dolores was a homemaker and cared for many of her nieces and nephews when they were babies. She was a terrific and beloved mother and grandmother as well as a beloved wife. In addition to her mother and step mother, Dolores is survived by her husband, Dennis Patrick Jewell of Ridgely; two daughters: Nicole Lynn Reedy and Victoria Louise Reedy, both of Greensboro, MD; four sisters: Robin Ervin and her husband Wes of Greensboro, Zabrina Santiago of Sanford, FL, Shannon Jackson and her husband Curtis of Felton, DE, and Rebekah Reedy of Felton; three brothers: Charles Reedy and his wife Mary of Florida, Matthew Reedy of Felton, DE, and Brian Melvin of Henderson, MD; three granddaughters: Kia’lah Webb, Alanna Reedy, and Ava Brown; a grandson, Deandre Washington, Jr; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her father, Dolores is predeceased by her step father, Robert Melvin, and a brother, Robert J. Reedy.
