Diane Marie Caminiti, 65, of Portland, died on October 31, 2015 at Maine Medical Center. Diane was born in Portland on March 18, 1950, the daughter of Michael F. and Laura V. (Cavallaro) Caminiti.
Diane was proud to be a graduate of Deering High School class of 1968. She was a former employee of Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, as well as a former board member of the Italian Heritage Center. Diane enjoyed traveling anywhere but especially enjoyed going on cruises. She also enjoyed singing karaoke, attending her grand children’s events, catching up on the news with family and friends, crossword puzzles, and reading the obituaries. We hope she would have enjoyed this one! Diane could light up a room with her presence, her smile, and her sense of humor.
Diane is survived by her mother; her children: Thomas Hamilton of Portland, Laura DiBiase and her fiancé Cody Gillis, Sr. of Brunswick, Heather Libby and her husband Mark of Saco, and James McDonald of Arlington VA.; Grandchildren: Tia Mikayla, Jacob Thomas, Angelina Francesca, and Ava Grace; Sisters: Patricia Watson, Maria Fowler, Anita Birch, and Laurie Nappi; Brothers: Steven Caminiti, and Michael Caminiti; she is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends. She was predeceased be her father.
