Deven L. Kear was born July 24th 1965, and went to heaven on May 26th, 2014. He was born to Lonny Kear, Sr. and Linda (Howes) Kear in Goodland, KS. When Deven was a pre-teen, his family moved to Colorado, where he met the mother of his children, Caryn Frosio. In 1992, they were married in Greeley, CO and in January of 1994, they began their journey into parenthood with the birth of their beautiful daughter, Siarra. They were blessed with their handsome son, Ethan, in March of 1996, completing their family. Soon after the birth of their son, they relocated to Maine to raise their family. Deven was a very free spirited person that embraced challenges and lived life to its fullest. He preferred to be unique rather than to be like everyone else. He not only treated others with respect, but was respected by others for his character of having high morals, standards, and values. They knew they could depend on him when in need, and when he decided to do something, he gave 110% effort into getting it accomplished. He was a very proud and loving dad who felt his children were his greatest treasures. To say that he was a wonderful father, brother, son, uncle, nephew, cousin, friend and person, is a great understatement. He made a lasting impression on everyone he met, and had friends everywhere he went. He was accepting of people without judging them, and he believed everyone was entitled to be themselves.
