Delphine Moser, the daughter of Frances (Wirkes) and John Kotta was born on August 18, 1912 in Falun Township where she was raised and also attended school. She was one of nine children.

On October 4, 1932 she and Anton Moser were united in marriage. They bought a farm in Falun Township in 1937 and worked as dairy farmers. In 1947 they became contract mail carriers and provided the service to the area for over 36 years. They farmed until 1974 when they sold the farm to their sons Dale and Raygene. Together they enjoyed working on crafts in their retirement. Anton passed away on May 15, 2003, and Delphine moved into the nursing home and resided at Sheltering Oaks Manor in Roseau.

Delphine loved to sew! She enjoyed playing cards, baking bread, gardening, crocheting, picking blueberries, working on crafts, and cooking. She served on the Co-op Store Board for a number of years, sold Farmers Union Insurance in earlier years, and was involved in the NFO.

Delphine Moser passed away on Sunday, September 4 at Sheltering Oaks Manor in Roseau while surrounded by her family. She was 93 years old.

Delphine is survived by her children Doriene (Virgil) Sauve of Shoreview, Janave (Wayne) Lommel of St. Cloud, R. Darield (Judith) Moser of Roseau, Dale (Kathryn) Moser of Salol, Raygene (Carilyn) Moser of Salol, and Barbara Ann (Elmer) Kenning of St. Cloud, MN; 21 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren; brothers Raymond (Bena) Kotta of Roseau, and Phillip (Leonella) Kotta of Falun. She is preceded in Death by her husband Anton, son Wilfrid, grandson Mark, Brothers John, Sylvester, Clarence, & Leonard, and sisters Angela, and Sister Immaculata.
